CITY FAMILY GARDEN

The brief for this project was to create a new, contemporary garden to compliment a large extension to the family home. The clients have two small children, and whilst they wanted to include something for them, they also wanted spaces to entertain and relax in with friends. A level lawn was created by terracing the space, and as well as an outdoor kitchen and large dining area which is reached through wide bifolding doors, and secluded seating area at the top right corner was created. At the opposite end, a bespoke children's climbing frame and play area will be created, with a sleek, contemporary stone connecting the two. A water bowl in the centre of the path creates a focal point, and a sense of tranquility in the new outdoor space.

 The garden will be completed in 2021, after the house extension is finished.
